Starting to Feel the 427 Miles...

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us," (Hebrews 12,:1)

Today I continued my trek West along the Mountains to Sea Trail. I began from the Western end of Eno River State Park and walked through Hillsborough, Efland, and ended today in Alamance County just outside of Mebane. In all I was able to complete another 20 miles. This evening, as a family, we were also able to visit a local church for their Saturday evening service. In all I am around mile 427. Everyday it gets a little more challenging, as my feet and legs are really starting to feel it. However, I am truly blessed by everyone's prayers and support, for both our family and for the Emmanuel Home Ministry. This is truly a trek of endurance, and I am thankful that everyday the Lord has been with me. To protect me, and to give me the endurance to keep going. I pray that as I continue to endure to the end, you will join me in praying for the ministries of CAS and BCH as they endure, by God's grace, to reach hundreds of children, women, and families every year with the live changing measage of the Gospel.
