Field White for Harvest

"Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest." (John 4:35)

Walking through Eastern North Carolina over the last couple of weeks I have seen farm after farm gathering in their harvest. When I saw this cotton field today, it made me think about Jesus' words in John 4:35. It is the Holy Spirit that convicts and converts someone unto Saving faith, but the Lord in His divine will has chosen to use ordinary men and women to proclaim the Gospel. For, "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?" (Rom. 10:14)

Christian Adoption Services' Mission Statement is to "Connect Vulnerable Children with Christian Families." That is also the purpose of the Emmanuel Home. It is more than a safe space. It will be a place where the Gospel will be proclaimed, and tangibly lived out. We do not know whom the Lord has chosen, but we know that He has chosen believers to proclaim the Gospel and point people to the only True Hope, Jesus. Will you continue to pray for the Emmanuel Home ministry? That all needed funds would be provided, and for the women that will be impacted by it. That many lives will be restored by faith in Jesus. I was able to complete 23 more miles today. I am about 9 miles from Rocky Mount and should arrive there tomorrow afternoon. Thank you for your continued prayers.
