Unique Opportunity on Day 2

Today I was able to walk around 32 miles and I am about 43 miles from Pembroke. I had a unique opportunity today to talk with and pray for Deputy Pierce of the Columbus County Sheriffs Department. He stopped me to ask me if I was ok and why I was walking. It gave me an opportunity to explain about the Emmanuel Home and pray with him. This opportunity reminded me again why the Emmanuel Home is so needed. Just like how Deputy Pierce serves and protects his community we want to protect the unborn and serve those who choose life and sacrifice above themselves.
