Meet Kevin Qualls

KEVIN QUALLS

Kevin is the Director of Development, Christian Adoption Services and Young Leader Relations for BCHNC/CAS where he has served since 2016. Prior to CAS, he served for twenty-two years as a pastor in North and South Carolina. Kevin received his Bachelors of Science degree from Gardner-Webb University in 1993 and his Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1996. Kevin is currently a Doctor of Ministry candidate at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with an anticipated graduation date in 2025. 

Kevin is a member of the Adoption Council for the Christian Adoptions Alliance, helping ensure that adoption is practiced with Biblical definitions and Christian principles. In addition to serving with the alliance, his preaching at churches throughout the Carolinas helps to raise awareness of orphan care. He is passionate about serving the entire adoption triad: children in need, mothers considering adoption for their children and adoptive families who offer their hearts and home to these children. 

Kevin has been married to Kim since 1994, and they have three young adult children.  Kevin loves sports and spends much of his free time cheering for his beloved UNC Tarheels and New York Yankees. He is currently working towards his bucket list goal to visit all MLB stadiums in the country.  When he’s not at a sporting event, you’ll probably find him, with Kim, playing pickleball or eating at a really great restaurant!
