Jasper & Cynthia
Hello from Jasper, Cynthia, and baby Jack! We met online and went on our first date on Valentine's day of 2014. Talk about a great start to our relationship! We both knew early on that we would get married. Jasper after Cynthia made him some chocolate chip cookies on their second date, and Cynthia after hearing about Jasper's love for the refugee community. We dated for another year before getting engaged though, and got married in August of 2015. In July of 2017 we were blessed with the adoption of our son, Jack. We are excited to grow our family, and recently bought Jack a baby doll so we could start practicing being gentle, holding, and snuggling with the baby. Outside of our relationship with Christ, family is the most important thing for both of us. We love to travel, spend time at the beach every Thanksgiving, and watch sports. One of the best parts of having Jack has been being able to share all of these things with him, and we can't wait to share them with another little one!
We welcome a girl, or twins (if one is a girl), newborn to three months, through open, semi-open or closed adoption.
DEAR EXPECTANT MOTHER
Dear Expectant Mother,
One of our dearest held beliefs is that God's plan for our lives is always the BEST plan. This doesn't mean it is easy, it doesn't mean it is always fun, but it does mean that God's faithfulness is evident and present, especially looking back! So first of all, we want you to know that if you decide to parent, we 100% applaud and support that choice. God is faithful, and if that is where He leads you, He will continue to be faithful. However, if you decide to make an adoption plan, we pray that God would grant you great peace and certainty. That He would encourage you and give you hope for the future He has for you and for your child.
We have experienced God's perfect timing and provision when He brought Jack into our lives, and we wholeheartedly believe that He will match us with the right expectant mom, and the right baby, at the right time. We are so excited to introduce ourselves and hope this page helps you get to know us. We are excited to welcome another little one into our family, and promise we will offer him or her the best life we can. If you choose an adoption plan for your child, and you choose us to be his or her parents, we promise to love and treasure them. We also promise to always honor you in our conversations with them, and to tell them about your absolute love.
Our hope is to raise children who love the Lord, who are kind and generous, and who serve others. We are also a multicultural family, and speak English and Spanish in our home. We have lots of family nearby, and they are all looking forward to meeting the newest member of our family. Fun fact, we also have extended family in Costa Rica, which gives us some awesome opportunities to travel!
Thank you for spending this time looking at our profile. We hope and pray that as you make this decision you would receive clear guidance from the Lord and move forward with confidence in His love, faithfulness, and provision for you!
