Travis & Spasha

Our love started more than twenty years ago. We were both in high school and introduced by mutual friends. Throughout our high school and college years we would often discuss our dreams and aspirations and knew that one day we would get married. Nearly eight years after meeting, we tied the knot with nearly 300 family and friends there with us. The day could not have been more perfect; sharing our vows in front of those we loved, eating great food and dancing the night away. This isn't much different (aside from music choice) than how we like to spend our time now: sharing great meals with everyone and dancing and singing loudly in the kitchen.

Over the past twenty years we have spent time learning, growing and loving one another. We have focused on making memories together, including having one child, attending three proms, sharing seven graduations, having more than 31 years combined at our companies and gaining far too many pounds to highlight. Overall, we are pretty consistent but far from perfect. We simply enjoy doing life together!

Travis is a very caring and kind husband. He is God-fearing, loving, faithful and affectionate. He is a wonderful provider and awesome encourager. He enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and we love spending time with him. In his spare time you can find him doing yard work, playing basketball with our daughter or watching movies (Kung- Fu, Action or Documentaries). He enjoys being silly and loving on his favorite girls. As a father, I could not ask for anything more- he is a teacher, coach, and leader and simply put...our super hero. He has high expectations and holds us accountable to ensuring that we remain in the will of God.

Spasha is the great mother, wife and friend. She is a very nurturing and caring person. She is so thoughtful and deliberate about her role as a mother and she will work hard to make sure that the children have everything that they need. I admire the way she communicates with our daughter, talking to her about her day. As a wife, she is always willing to go the extra mile for me and with me. She is very understanding, supportive and patient. She allows me to be myself (whoever that is) when I'm with her. She keeps a positive attitude about life in general. She has taught me a lot about life, love, and friendship. Spasha is always thinking of others and the best way to help out in any situation. The best thing about Spasha is that she loves God and she puts forth an effort to live for Christ every day. I'm sure her example will leave an everlasting impression on your child to shape their life for good.

We welcome a boy, newborn to three months, through open, semi-open or closed adoption.

DEAR EXPECTANT MOTHER

Christ is at the center of our lives, our heart and our home. It is our goal to share this foundation as we expand our family…. Long before we were married we aspired to one day become parents. We welcomed our daughter, Lauren, nearly eight years ago. Lauren is most excited about becoming a big sister! She is committed to taking care of the baby, including tickling toes and changing diapers. Lauren has blessed our lives in more ways than we can count. Our hearts desire has been to expand our family again, this time through the blessing of adoption. We know how hard it must be for you to make an adoption plan, but we are grateful that you are considering us to share in this journey. We are committed to loving your child just as we do our daughter, ensuring that every need is met (physically, emotionally and spiritually), to provide a fun and nurturing home. Our hugs, kisses and family coordinated outfits are standing by waiting to greet a new bundle of joy! We are devoted to ensuring that your child knows just how much you love them and above all, just how much Christ loves them. Although we do not know exactly who you are yet, we are praying for you and the baby already. We pray for your strength, protection and peace as you consider adoption. May the Lord bless you and guide you along this journey. In conclusion we share a personal note from Lauren.... "I am so excited that you might choose us to be part of your family. We like to have fun and can't wait to play with the baby. I promise to be nice, helpful and always love the baby. I hope you pick us!"

With Love, Travis, Spasha & Lauren
