Sarah & Chris
Abbi will be a great big sister. She is a wonderful helper and absolutely loves babies. We already have her “Big Sister” shirt ready to go!
We are excited to welcome to our family a girl, newborn to three months, through open, semi-open or closed adoption.
DEAR EXPECTANT MOTHER
To Someone Special,
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. We know that you are in the midst of making some big decisions and we want you to know that we are so grateful for your courage and love for your baby.
We met in 2011 at Fort Caswell, North Carolina. About a month later we officially began dating but not before asking some important questions. Chris was 32 and I was 31 at the time, so we wanted to make sure that we desired the same things in life. When the topic of children came up, Chris said he would like to adopt. I about fell over because I can remember wanting to adopt since I was in third grade. At that point I was pretty sure I had finally found the man I was going to marry. We were married in 2012 and our daughter Abigail, or Abbi as we like to call her, was born in February 2015. When she was a few months old, we began to take steps to find out more about building our family through adoption. In June 2016 we contacted Christian Adoption Services and began the process to adopt right away!
So what makes us who we are? First and foremost we just love Jesus. We are not perfect people by any means but we love, support and enjoy one another. We want our home to be a haven for our family. We are not people who are busy all the time. We like to really focus on the important things like eating dinner together, spending time playing together, learning about the Lord and enjoying new experiences…and especially new foods! We have been blessed to have some wonderful friends who have also adopted.
We are excited about the baby that the Lord will bring to our family knowing that she will be well loved by our family and yours! Please know that you are being prayed for fervently.

Sarah is a very kind and giving person. She cares well for others by always thinking about ways that she can bless them. She is a wonderful mother. She stays at home with Abbi during the day and she teaches her how to cook, count, sing her ABCs, color, be gentle and share with others. She loves to cook, grow things in the garden, care for little ones and spend time with friends.

What Sarah Says About Chris
Chris is a wonderful husband and a fantastic daddy. He always puts our family first and is a wonderful protector and provider. He loves playing with our daughter Abbi, whether it is hide and go seek, playing with her toys or reading “Pinkie Pie Throws A Party,” for the 100th time. He is looking forward to going on dates and father/daughter dances. One of my favorite things to see is when he holds Abbi’s hand on a walk. It is really a great picture of the father that he is. He is tender, loving, and wants to teach our children to follow the Lord and make wise decisions. His college education is in biology and forestry. He is an outdoorsman. He likes to hunt, hike, and do just about anything outside.
