Cameron & Sarah
We are Cameron and Sarah. We have been together for 10 years! We met in our sophomore year of college in 2007 and quickly realized that we were a even match! For most of college, we dated, went on mission trips, and traveled. After two years of dating, we got engaged in the spring of our senior year (Cameron basically threw the ring at Sarah!) and quickly got married on August 1st, 2009. In our first years of marriage, Sarah taught middle school and Cameron was a youth minister. We grew as a couple, enjoying each other's company and finding our way through life together. We traveled and spent much of our time doing what God called us to do, loving young people! From beach trips to mission trips in Guatemala with youth, and many nights at the local coffee shop, we have always loved doing things together! We make a great team! Often, we can be found at coffee shops or unique restaurants and discovering local places to explore either together or with our son too. We enjoy time together at home, watching comedies and enjoying our back yard deck as well! Cooking at home and spending evenings going on walks in our neighborhood are a favorite pastime. Family and youth ministry is huge in our lives from Cameron's work at church and Sarah's work with middle school students. We love to find ways to support people in their daily lives, which gives us happiness in ours. Passion is a great way to describe how we live life!
We are excited to welcome to our family a boy, girl, or twins (of any gender combination), newborn to six months, through open, semi-open or closed adoption.
DEAR EXPECTANT MOTHER
We are so thankful for you to be considering our family. It is an incredible honor and gift to open our lives to your child! Know that you are being lifted up daily in prayer as you go through this process. Also, know that your child is being prayed over, no matter the choice you make! Adoption has always been a part of our relationship. Before we were thinking about starting a family, we always knew that God had placed on our hearts to adopt. This is something that has been years in the making. After having our biological child, Gavin, we knew that we were ready to add to our family through adoption. Our families have been so excited and we are excited to go through this process with you! We are surrounded by our supportive families, a wonderful community, and great friends. Our home is open and full of space to love on your child and give them a place to grow, feel supported, and find their path in life. We are humble to be a part of this process with you. This is a big step and we hope to create a loving home for your child, filled with God, love, and family.
