Linda & Craig

Hello, thank you for taking time to learn more about us! We hope that our letter below gives you comfort about our commitment to you and your baby. Here is a little bit about us. We have been married for 13 wonderful years. We are both easy going people and we place high value on love, communication, trust, and compromise. We love to laugh and enjoy each other's company. When our friends describe us, they say Craig is like a big teddy bear (sweet), quiet, and smart. He will help people out any chance he gets. Our friends describe Linda as funny, trustworthy, and caring. Linda loves to have fun and joke around with people (Pastors included). Don't let the Pastors fool you though, they can dish it out too! We love our church family; we attend church regularly and are both active in church ministries. Whenever we get the chance, we like to go camping, do day trips, and extended trips to our favorite getaways or try new places. We would love the opportunity to share these experiences with a child, just as our families did with us as kids. We believe God has chosen adoption as our path for starting a family and we are excited about the opportunity to do so and we have a lot of love to give. We are confident God will lead you to a family that is right for you and your baby and we are praying for mothers on this journey.

We are excited to welcome to our family a boy, girl, or twins (of any gender combination), newborn to five years old, through open, semi-open or closed adoption.

DEAR EXPECTANT MOTHER

We would like to thank you again for taking the time to read this. Although we are not in your shoes, we understand this is a difficult time for you and we respect you for your courage. We have been trying to have a child for a number of years and have been unsuccessful. It has always been our desire since we got married to be parents, and it has long been our prayer. We now believe that it was God's plan for us to adopt. "You can make many plans, but the Lord's purpose will prevail."- Proverbs 19:21 We are ready to open our hearts to you and your baby and here is a bit about how we would do so. Although we have a nice house, what makes a home is not the walls, but the love shown within the walls, which is hugs and kisses, lots of attention, and I Love Yous. We would teach your child right from wrong, and that God commands us to love everyone as he loves us. We would love your child the way you would want him or her to be loved, tenderly and unconditionally. Your child would become part of our current traditions we have carried on from our parents and grandparents and we would create new traditions along the way. Our families are very excited about the addition of a niece or nephew and grandchild. We also have a wonderful church family that is excited about welcoming a new addition, so your baby would be loved by many and treated the same as a biological child. You can be sure that we would keep in close contact with you should you wish, so you can watch your child grow and be a part of his or her life. We would always speak of you in a positive way and remind him or her often that they are a special gift to us from you. We plan to provide a keepsake chest for the child to put his or her photos, stuffed animals, or any other tangible memories you may want him or her to have that they can look at or play with any time they wish. We are praying that God blesses you with strength and showers you with love.

Love,
Craig & Linda
