Erica & Neal
We are Neal and Erica and have been married for four and a half years. Even before we were married we talked about what our life together would look like. We had it all planned out. We would have a house full of children. After a year of trying to conceive, we went to a specialist and tried IVF. We were unsuccessful and our hearts were broken, but our dream of having a full house did not go away. After several months of prayer and healing, we knew God wanted us to adopt. We adopted Olivia in 2015 and loved her from the moment we met her. We are in regular contact with Olivia’s birth mother and communicate a couple of times a month with her. She is such a special woman and we love her so much. God has laid it on our hearts to adopt again. Olivia is so excited to be a big sister.
We welcome a boy, girl, or twins (of any gender combination), from newborn up to two years of age, through open, semi-open or closed adoption.
DEAR EXPECTANT MOTHER
Dear Expectant Mother,
We haven’t met yet, but we are already praying for you and your baby. We hope that in giving you a snapshot of our life we can offer you assurance that this child will continue to be loved and cared for all of his or her days.
Neal about Erica: Erica is a great mom and wife! She loves kids, is creative, and makes me laugh. She is such an encouraging, supportive person and is my biggest cheerleader. I am so blessed that she is my wife and Olivia’s mom.
Erica about Neal: Neal is by far the most compassionate, dependable, and generous person I know. He is easy-going and really enjoys helping other people. He is an amazing dad and an incredible husband!
Our home is comfortable, cozy, and calm. We live in a small town just outside of a major city where we used to live. We love living out to the country so we can spread out a little and smell the fresh country air! The beautiful sunsets, the big backyard, and the wonderful neighbors make it even better.
We are blessed with a large (and mostly local) extended family. Another child coming into our life would also gain three grandparents, two great-grandparents, three aunts and uncles, seven cousins and over fifty members of our extended family. While many members of Erica's family live in Kentucky, the majority of our family lives within 20 minutes of us. A child placed with us will enjoy a large, committed group of people that want nothing more than to see that child succeed in life. The close proximity makes holiday celebrations large, fun events! Our immediate and extended families are extremely excited about our choice to adopt again and have been supportive every step of the way. We have so much honor and respect for you as you consider adoption for your child. We realize this is such an important decision and are extremely grateful you are taking the time to read our profile. If you want to learn more about us, we would love to meet you.
