Brittany & Stephen

Hello! We are Stephen and Brittany—A responsible and fun-loving couple who can’t wait to be parents! We love spending time with each other. Whether we’re taking a walk outdoors, watching TV shows or spending time with friends, it doesn’t really matter as long as we are together. We love to make each other laugh and do so often! We have been married for three years and are so excited for this next chapter in our lives. We have truly loved the first three years of our marriage and the opportunity for it to simply be just the two of us, but we have always wanted to be parents. After trying to grow our family for two years, we decided that adoption was where God is leading us. We are so grateful for this journey. In it, we have learned more about ourselves, each other and our marriage than we could have even begun to imagine. It has deepened our faith and drawn us closer to God. It has strengthened our marriage and shown us what kind of parents we hope to be someday—ones who encourage continuously, love unconditionally and laugh frequently.

We are excited to welcome to our family a boy, girl, or twins (of any gender combination), birth to three months, through open, semi-open or closed adoption.

DEAR EXPECTANT MOTHER

Words cannot express how grateful we are for you. You are brave. You are beautiful. You are prayed for. And you are so valued. Thank you for choosing to give life to your sweet babe. We know that the road you are walking right now is not an easy one—we can’t even begin to comprehend the decisions you have to make. But what we do know is that the love you have for your child runs deeply. That does not go unnoticed. We are inspired by your strength and your courage and we pray for you daily. When we began praying about growing our family through adoption, there was a quote that profoundly impacted us. It says “He is mine in a way that he will never be hers, he is hers in a way that he will never be mine, and together, we are motherhood.” (Desha Wood) To us, that is what adoption is—lives that are intertwined and tied together, forever changed, by a child and the courageous decision of a mother. We are overwhelmed by the grace of God—that He would allow us to live out the gospel in such a tangible way through adoption is so incredibly humbling. And whether we are the family you choose or not, we are so grateful for you.
