Amanda & Nathan
We met 11 years ago while out with friends. We were instantly attracted to each other because of shared values, easy conversation, and devotion to family. We have been married for almost 9 years. We have always desired having children and are very excited to grow our family through adoption. We enjoy taking our two dogs for walks, going to the mountains, camping, and family vacations. We both have jobs that we love: Amanda is an elementary school teacher and Nathan works for a parks and recreation department. Both of our families are extremely supportive of our adoption and look forward to welcoming this child to our lives.
We are excited to welcome into our home, a boy or girl, newborn up to six months, through open, semi-open or closed adoption.
DEAR EXPECTANT MOTHER
As we sit down to write this letter, our hearts are filled with excitement and emotion. We do not know how to express how much we love and respect you for choosing life for your baby. Thank you for making this courageous decision to place your baby with another family through adoption. We are Nathan and Amanda. We hope this will give you an idea of who we are as a couple and soon-to-be loving parents. It is our promise to raise this child in a Christian home filled with unconditional love, laughter, and encouragement. We will give him or her the opportunity to grow up to be the person they choose to be. We will provide love and support for a lifetime. We have been married for 8 years. We are an active family: we enjoy taking our two dogs on hikes and exploring the outdoors, going on road trips to the mountains and beach, spending time with family and friends, and having fun with our nieces and nephew. Both of our families are very involved in our lives and extremely supportive of our adoption. Nathan’s parents can’t wait to welcome their first grandchild to the family. Amanda’s family is excited to add another grandchild/cousin to the bunch. We know that God has a child out there just for us and we cannot wait to meet him or her! We both have a member of our extended family that was adopted. We know how special it is to bring a little one home and welcome them into our family. It is important to us that our child know his or her adoption story. We promise to honor our child’s birth family and foster a connection with them through open adoption if desired. Thank you for looking at our page and for considering us. Our home and hearts are ready if you choose us for your baby.

What Nathan says about Amanda
Amanda is a very caring and selfless wife. She is always willing to pitch in and help out on any task, even hanging a ceiling fan or trimming the hedges. Her passion is working with children and helping each one reach their goal in reading and other areas of learning. She treats each of her students with respect and cares for them as if they are her own. She also has a very fun-loving side. She’s quick to say “let’s go on an adventure” and we’ll hop in the car and set off to do something new. There’s never a dull moment and she keeps me on my toes. I believe her kind heart will make her a great mother to our child.

What Amanda says about Nathan
Nathan is creative, hardworking and kind. What I love most about him is how he is a team player and will help out with any task, including housework! Whenever I am feeling stressed or upset, he knows exactly what to do to make me laugh and feel better, usually by making a funny face or speaking in a silly voice. He is also a very talented artist with the most amazing ability to bring drawings to life. I love watching Nathan play with our nieces and nephew and take care of them. I can see the father he will be, one who is protective, devoted, and wholeheartedly in love with our child.
